yup... i know Issaam had done the wires too, but I hate the goofy 90/straight choice part of em... this way everything's done at the same time the way I like... that's Taylor's economy set, cut to fit...

Would it be possible for you to give us details on the cutting/crimping of them? Im interested in a cut to fit set myself.

sure.. my biggest issue is hunting down my crimpers.... but i'll try to document it to some extent.. gonna be a hectic day tho, hopefully I don't get dragged into the marina too...

I hate them fockers...... They like to live in the outdrives.....

I told you guys the story last yr about having to pull a prop off in the water and there was this big eel wrapped behind it that I grabbed... I still get squeemy thinking about it.... :doah:

That's Robert Shaw as Romer Treece in The Deep....capt. quint and a big green eel :eek1:

I'm VERY pleased with the tires....

it does kind of throw me for a loop with the suspension tho.. at this point I'm wondering how 4" up front will look....

eventually I'd add a 1"BL and zero rate to that and put the 37's in...

one of the thing's I dug about the CC was that it had no hood ornament.... just like that clean look... the K5 has the Chevy one.....

I don't know, I would rather have a rubber duck myself.
I actually bought the movie Convoy on DVD now that they finally made it on DVD and watched it again after 32 years, it's still a great movie:thumb:

If it makes you feel better it says they are back ordered. Its funny because personally, i love the chevy hood ornament! So how long would it say it took you to strip that hood? How did/will you prep the underside?

I'm a nut for all things Deathproof.... freakin love that movie... not sure if I ever saw Convoy...

I'd do the flat black too... i just picked the powder coat cuz i figured it'd be more durable... didn't see they where backordered... I think it would be badarse on the Mutt.... the rig already get's TON's of attention as is.. :haha:

it only had factory paint... aircraft stripper both sides... maybe 1/2 hr, 45 minutes for that.... DA with 80 on the top, maybe 10 minutes... DA'd what I could on the back, another 10 minutes.... than I'll blast the nooks and crannies, maybe a 1/2 hr, 45 minutes for that when i get to it...

the flat black is available...

anything under a c-note, I'd pull the trigger... it's just $175 is a bit extravagant for a hood ornament... :haha:

But its a sick hood ornament! Try finding one on amazon, possibly less expensive. I have found a ton of stuff on there I never thought they'd have!

I am trying to remember which member here has one as his avatar, and I belive has it on his truck?
And Paul, if you haven't seen convoy, I will have to make you a copy.:waytogo:
