Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

come on, an evil cigar puffing duck breathing down your bumper just screams mellow....

I feel bad for the drunk guy in the Camaro when he decides to tailgate Mutt.

It won't be pretty.

:haha:

working on getting the winch, fairlead and plate in now.. tomorrow I'll wire it up..

Yeah your getting pulled over the second you tap the brakes, if there's a cop within 12 miles...:D awesome man. Did you consider doing one less brake and two back up lights?

nope... I know some thought it a good idea... but I just don't place a high value on LOTS of reverse lighting.. he!!, most vehicles I've ever had didn't even have working reverse lights... :haha: worst case I can hit the LED pods that'll be up on the C-hoop... but honestly, with the park lights on, and that one reverse light on, I think I'll be able to see fine...

5 was the "right" amount of lights proportional to the panel size...... and as soon as I found out you could get a sequencer that would do 4, I was sold...

and thanks...... :D I think they came out perfect... :pimp:

decided not to mount the winch, as it wasn't gonna be operational till the dual bat box is done anyway...

but I did throw the fairlead on as that's what holds the license plate plate in place..

so other than the light for said plate, this is how I'll cruise around for awhile.. eventually I'll get to the lower receiver stuff...

hopefully some sequencing vid tomorrow..

sorry.. tried for video.. :doah:  :dunno: waited for just the right lighting..

my camera is just ultra ghey... :dunno: :doah: :haha: :doah:

will try again tomorrow.. Mutt's been around the, gawking, block a couple times now....

stuff.... tomorrow... :pimp:

It's really hard to get good pix of lighting. When I did my rear LED's, I ended up with shots like this

which could be a truck or could be a fricken UFO :doah:

Never mind that there's red and orange, which to the naked eye are obviously different... but to the camera, nope.

Looking forward to seeing yours, particularly sequenced...

it does ok, at a certain point once the sun is down, when there's some ambient light.. I even turned Mutt around to cut down the glare..

but it's just been dropped too many times.. by the time I got it to take a 30 sec clip, it was TOO dark... like yours...

it's just very finicky with what bats are in it, etc at this point.. it's ALWAYS flashing "dead bat" at me...

the sequence speed is pretty damn good with the incandescent's in the front.. an adjustable flasher may not be needed.. still need to hook up the "anti-burst" control wires.. it is working at this point...
