Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

And I was sure that was refried baked beans

it does have an unusual smell to it... ;) like ammonia and butter mixed into beeswax or sumfin ;)

ok, random whoring... doghouse is done... everything coated, lubed, yada.... mudflaps are done... started doing a bit of drawer tool planning... hopefully tomorrow I'll have the lightbar back up and the harness done from the lights down to the frame relay setup...

I may have missed it, but when are you planning on doing the passenger side drawers?

well, the rear one has always been done.. partitioned now too... it's the forward one i can't do cuz of the factory tank being in the way... well, the temp fill.. the drawer is the easy part, it's the lower dual bat box to match the ds that is the work... the drawer i could have in in a few hr's...

the revised schedule is now, when it comes out running with the new tank/6BT, that side will be clear for finishing the lower box, steps, etc...

so, a couple yrs.. ;)

so, today is a washout.. just fartin around the LAB™ getting the wiring stuff ready.... do a little cleaning/organizing/neEr drinkin.......

oh, sidenote.. friday was a good day.. in addition to my normal pay, I got a surprise $1500 bonus.... I get a x-mas one, but I've never gotten anything mid-season.. we've been stoopid busy since march, with no sign of let up.... marina is full.. I guess the price of my flesh has gone up... ;)

anyway, that helped with the credit cards and I even splurged and ordered a preliminary drawer light set up for the ds...

cummins will come home one night this week after work...

It's blocking anyone following you from seeing your CK5 sticker.

gotta pimp our chit... :pimp:

actually, for a driver behind me, it's one of the few you can see decent as it's off to the left of the tire a bit...

so i ordered 2 rgbw led strips and a controller... if they work the way i want, I'll order 2 more, one for the other side.. and one for the lower box...

snuck out between the raindrops and got the lightbar back on....

I think the worklights ended up being pretty perfect... most of the time, they are not very noticable.

should I keep this interior? this sh*t worth anything? the seat is immaculate, other than he was a smoker... the dash and door panels are perfect.. not sure what the white bezel deal is all about....

hehe, fockers got a sunroof...

I think I'm gonna invest in that med size, refurbed torch setup my gas supplier puts together for like $350 ... if i ever needed it, it's now...

Nice clean second gen dodge stuff is hard to get. Check out the sales on ebay and see what moves. You might be surprised. I know down here its impossible to get good parts because the sun just smokes em so fast. The seat cover is probably very easy to sell.

Then seats are comfy enough. They’re common enough for swaps on older stuff around here I’m sure someone will gladly take them off your hands

Definitely sell the interior parts.
We bought a parts truck mostly because the interior on the one we got was not the best. Dash for sure!
And some of the heater parts are discontinued as I recently found out.

i was pulling the dash 5 minutes ago.. had to come up for a replacement neEr! :saweet:

whole front is hacked off.... cut a window in the well to get to the lift pump.. gonna run it during the week on an OB boat tank.. and than slaughter it apart like a chainsaw massacre... seat, etc... I want this thing gone by dec first at the latest..

Haha I get to pull two dashes.

Just how many Neer is that job!? :haha:

the bezel was cracked but the pad is mint grey.. I don't know, but I'm 8 Molson Ice's to the wind currently and crankin.. ;)

Mutt's light harness is about done ... got everything down to the relay area.. but i need some fabric wrap for the upper harness before I loom and wiretie it...
