My thought was on the Chromabase Premier...because it dries much quicker or you can make it dry quicker and if I shoot this in less than perfect conditions quick drying might be an asset?
Also, since my primer is buff, nearly the same color as the paint, the covering power of the Premier would almost certainly allow me to get full coverage with a minimum film thickness????![]()
you might save a bit of paint, but really you want to do a certain amount of coats/mills no matter what..
I will say, I REALLY like the catalyzed base.. regular chroma dries fast as he!! to begin with... it's like a lacquer, but even faster... we'd be wetsanding base in 20 minutes...
but the premier does cover nice, and yes, the catalyzed base SHOULD be tougher than the chroma or nason... it wouldn't stop me from shooting a noncatalyzed in a sec.. but if available, and I was feeling randy, nice product....
