Ryoken's Guide to Rust Treatment and Bodywork 101

Did you sign a release to allow them to put it on TV. Or is it in the fine print of all their contracts /

Just curious.

I dunno...I haven't seen the commercial...but I can tell you that they have really done me right so far...I don't mind if they use it...as long as they get it to me soon.

I suppose it is as the camera saw it...I am sure there a lots of cars in various states of repair on the video...it's not just mine...

They called at 4:55 today...it's ready. I will have it tomorrow!

Yes, a little on the back side towards the top is all I needed.
On a vert u can bump the seal and knock It loose. My wife was good at it.

The ones I got are specified at 148"

When I install them, will I need to cut them or are they already cut to length?

and I guess it will make sense when I see it, but just looking at the seals, I don't get why the need for the "GM trough"

also, does the head seal marry up with the door seal somehow? if so, I may need to wait till I get it before installing the door seals with glue

the troughs are so the weatherstripping can sit all the way level with the floor, as opposed to sticking up an inch and being a trip point getting in and out...

I generally do not run weatherstrip adhesive on pinched door weatherstripping.... as long as the factory stuff is in decent shape, I pre-close it, install, and have the interior pieces aid in keeping it in place...

I like to be able to take that kinda stuff apart easily down the road... I've never had an issue... that being said, I always have a few sets of GM's around, and pick the best pair I have and clean em up..

I do remember softseal had decent aftermarket ones, but can't vouch for LMC, etc, stuff..

Well...nothing I looked at was NOS on the door seals for 73-75...they were all aftermarket so I went with Rock Auto...of all places, these are made in India
