Sara's hikey campy thread...

Every time we are out wheeling in the rockies, somebody will bring up the fact that "we live here". And other people wish they could visit

I try to remember that each time I head out to see awesome stuff. We are so blessed by the awesome things around us. :thumb:

Even if our awesomeness does look different than yours. :haha:

My friends and I were talking about it while we were put there- do you think there's people who live out here who don't see it anymore??? Like they're just so used to it??

Definitely. I live near awesome waterfalls, Great Lakes shoreline, adventurous ruins, etc. It's not until I'm explaining it to others, who don't have those opportunities, that I remember how wonderful these things are.

Driving past the sparkling shoreline every day, it gets to feel more like a commute and less like an awesome vacation. It's just normal.

I'm one of those who see this picts from out west with amazement. I guess you do get used to it living there, or anywhere for that matter. I'm sure there are some great places in Delaware that I just don't see anymore cause I see them all the time. That's what makes this world so great.....Always something new to see.

But fresh sea food is nonexistent in Colorado.

True....The Rockfish are running and the crabs are good....Now I'm hungry.:D

I hope to start doing so traveling and seeing more of this country once I retire and have more time.
