Wow that's significant. Rock on with your bad self

Going from 16.5 to 18s was a jump for the better in looks. I will say 20s aren't to go bling bling, or id buy chrome..lol. I'll try out the bigger wheel look while keeping my 18s. That way if I don't like an I'll sell em and just buy tires..lol. Do i keep em wide looking with 10s or just stick with 9 wides...this sucks..

Personally I'd run a 10" wide wheel, my 37x13.5 are on 9" and look real drawn in.

That's what i went with, gear big block 20x10 with 4.75 backspace. Gloss black lip with machined face, i figured i need some part shiny to break it up some plus it shouldn't be too bad to clean. The body work should be finished next month. The rockers and corners are spotty so my brother just wants to cut em out. So full rockers, cab corners, fix all the small spots and a repaint. Should look all new again.

Tires are here already, a pic of two until they get mounted tom. Waiting for a fed ex delivery. Edit and wheels today at 9am. Dropped em off to get mounted, I'll have pics later.

I had those tires on my old super duty only smaller. I really like them. They sit perfect with your flares.
At least you didn't get the 2" backspacing option with spacers for that bad ass brodozer look.

The backspacing I went nuts with, I didn't want em hanging out or in too far. I measured and measured...lol. I didn't have many choices for what I wanted. I do tho have 1.5 billet steel spacers from fred on the rear to even the stance. I hope the tires do good, lots of good reviews and cheaper than most. They remind me of the km2s I had a few years ago.

Exactly my thoughts I love the old school bfg and they are real similar. I ran those and several other cooper tires on our utility trucks in Moab and they are a good tough tire. I need rear spacers like that on my k5.

Gotta love new tires. I still think the wheels are too big but kudos for getting them nearly perfectly aligned with the fenders.

Wheels are a lol huge but they will grow on me, backspacing came out pretty good. Prob could of went 20x12s with a 13.50 but I'd rather not throw debris all over the new paint. Plus pa tire laws suck.

A guy I used to work with got an 05 crew cab super duty dirt cheap and put a 5" suspension lift and hacked the shit out of it to run 53" military tires on some blinging 20s he got used. It was a way bad job.

I seen a few done like that, most of em are rust buckets that they hack out the rust. Bigger than 37s and I'll need cut out flares and crank up the coilovers. So I'll stick to 37s..

I've done a few small things in the last few weeks. Going thru data logs there is a little more heat for the intake air temps. So the only next upgrade for that is a varimax coolant pump, this is used on the zl1 and a lightning trucks. Seems to make my temps recover a whole lot faster and not break 130 degrees. The hose routing was changed so there are no bends and smooth curves. Also i had under load and light on the pedal smoke out the tail pipes and a hesitation after that a ck engine light. Scanned and its low voltage to the bank 2 sensor 1 o2 sensor. Testing just that it worked till it got hot and then the #'s didn't bounce around they stopped. Swapped that out and its good to go. I bought a nitrogen charge kit for my coilovers, they weren't charged as high as they should. So i'll charge em up and go from there, if its not what i want i have softer springs and a bunch of valving sets i bought from a few different vendors. I have the valving wfo uses in their dmax kits and the valving pure peformance uses, currently i have what king suggested. Between the 3 the shim differance is about .010 which isn't much.

Wheel and tire combo looks great. I've ran at least 7 sets of STT's on my last two trucks and I've loved them. Next set will be the stt pros.

Hopefully i like these as much as you do, so far so good. The stt's call since they are 10 ply for 65 psi, i'm running 50 up front and 45 in the rear. They ride and drive a whole lot better this way. I keep getting told how bad the pro's are compared to the older stt's, i bet 5 or 6 people out of the blue complained. I really hope they are wrong....

I ran them on my utility company work trucks when I was in Moab. They did great. Make sure to rotate them often just like any mud terrain. I can't wait to get a set for my current tow rig.
