How do you know where to install the new shackle to get the right angle, what is better new leaves or the saggy ones I have?

the flip kit goes in the same place as the existing shackle mount.

ord shackle flip(swapped sides), diy4x 7" shackles, 56" springs no overload, diy4x ez inch.

I was thinking that was the wierdest looking set of leaf springs I'd ever seen myself.
What condition are your current springs in?
One day down the road I'd like to put a 2-3" lift on my Blazer. However the p-side rear spring sits a good 1" lower than the d-side rear spring. So when it comes time to lift it I'd need to address that issue. Instead of searching for some good shape stockers or paying for new rear springs AND a flip I think I'll just go with BDS or Tuff Country springs all around and call it good.

one advantage of doing the flip, however, is that it addresses the pinion angle issue a bit better than do lift springs + a degreed shim.
As long as you have a CV rear drive shaft...
I'm running a shackle flip from DIY4X with 57" ford springs and couldn't be happier with how it all turned out...

The towing argument against a shackle flip is null IMHO.
Lift springs won't hold up to a heavy load and flatter springs will handle better. As long as your angles are good and your shackles arent a million feet long, it's safe to tow with. The other factor is the condition of your original springs.. if I was planning on towing, I'd also be getting new OEM quality rears..
