If I have spark knock under load and moderate acceleration, do i have to advance or retard my timing?
 
Alright I fou nd out that I need to retard my timing a little bit. Been DD'n it for a few days now and its doing great:waytogo:
 
the column isnt a tilt but $35 was an ok deal I thought. I've been dd'n it with no issues now:thumb: If it wasnt for my burbs body being so nice I'd swap the suspensions N wheels so I could DD it all the time. I like it. Just a little to bouncey for me.

I wish I lived out that way. It seems to be sweet square body central.
 
Might want to get some more drivetrain/powertrain/equipment info on there.

Also, you said BFG tires but the pics show Swampers and Coopers.
 
:doah: your right they are coopers. I was thinking of what they were but bfg's sounded right. as for the drivetrain stuff I'll have to do that. didnt think of it really thanks:thumb:
 
No prob. Sold a fair amount on there and always trying to see what's up. Nothing worse than an ad with no details to make me just keep on going.
 
Man Rick I wish I had some money man. I really dig that thing. Have since you bought it. Would probably sell the Jimmy and use it as my daily driver. Oh man oh man.

I sure hope you get list price out of it babys are expensive :D:D

I tried changing the add last night but I cant open the confirmation email to finalize it. I'll retry tonight after work since I cant get that email here.

Yeah I'd like to see you have it too man. I think it would become a VERY sweet truck after a little while in your shop:D I still want your axles too. Now we both have something we each want:haha: And babies are deffinately expensive:crazy: I must be nuts cause my boy just turned 17 monday and I'm looking at starting over:doah: So close to being FREE too:haha:
 
Thanks, the more I drive it the less I wanna get rid of it. But I have my burb which is nicer, FI, and rides better. Plus my fiance cant really get in this one as well being like 5'2":rolleyes:
 
I guess its time for me to donate some mula so i can veiw pics here. But anywho. Im trying to save the money man. I want this thing SOOOO bad. Exactly what i want. I love my K5 but this would be sweet to add to the collection.
 
The $25 for this site has saved me a BUNCH in trial and error by learning how to do it right:waytogo: and I paid for my membership pretty much cause I need pics to understand whats going on in a build or I'm lost:haha:
 
Damn. Gotta do what you gotta do though. I've been in situations like that before. You'll move forward on something else wether it be the sub or another pickup later on.

The burb will be my main focus when I get this sold and she gets pregnant. I pay $300 a month between payment and insurance for this to sit in my yard cause I drive the burb mainly:dunno:. Once that money is free'd up I plan on rebuilding my axles/gear swap, going through the tranny, and doing a 5.3 swap on the burb.

Right now though we have to pay out the wazoo to get her pregnant cause I got cut years ago.:doah: hence the toys gotta go so we can do that quick. then I'll just concentrate on what I already have:waytogo:
