I recall a comedian having a skit about "Great Stuff" foam--he said "Yeah,that really IS Great Stuff!--it works great on those annoying Sub-Woofers that punk kid next door has in his car...one squirt in each speaker and no more thumpity-thump bass at 2 am...

If your cutting it with a table saw (I am) be careful. It can kick back hard. Really freaking hard
When we used to hang plastic paneling in car washes, we used to remove and reverse the blade on the saw. Then run the panel through as normal so as to use the kickback fingers on the saw.
No kickback and didn't damage the panel
Just a thought, don't want you to hurt yourself

I used the blade backwards when I cut vinyl siding too. Makes for a cleaner cut.
I've used a backwards blade (preferably non-carbide) for cutting vinyl, plastic, and sheet metal. I'd avoid it for foam because it causes the foam to melt and char. This is ok with vinyl, but it can get messy when you're burning through stuff that's 2" thick for long periods of time.
It does work, I just don't prefer that method. YMMV.
One thing to remember is to switch the blade back before you go to cut a piece of wood. 
I'm only using 1" thick

Little by little getting it done
It still makes charred mess and noxious fumes. Like I said before, both methods are fine. You can create granular waste or melted waste, the finished piece won't be much different.

Built a traction bar for a Jeep and brackets for his new and improved pahnard. Also starting making plans for what I need to get to build a set of tracks
