Shop build. HEAT!

Build a little insulated shed on the outside of the wall where the breaker box is , less noise less wire needed.
This would also help with moisture in your air. Well when it's cold out anyway.

Nope not ever. I still have a scar from a PVC air distribution system. Probably just do sch 40 black pipe.

And yah I will insulate the little shed
Using black pipe will leech crap into your air. If your sure you will never paint anything with your system fine. I used schedule 40 galvy. And yep, I've seen PVC systems explode too. Nope!

My future air system has changed some.

I'm gonna use copper cause it's actually not a bad price and looks cool.

I don't have a threader for pipe and little fittings really add up.

The air compressor I have is big and has a couple small after coolers but I have another cooler to put in before the tank plus a smaller tank to help with water.

Should be a fairly contaminate free system.

Looks awesome Eric, sorry I couldn't get up there this week.

Also, a bad ass pipe threader could come with me....

Oh reary?

That's a bit off still. Gotta get the major stuff done. Hopefully Josh Ashman is coming with his buddy Chris to do wiring next weekend. So hoping to get that busted out quick, then onto insulation and sheeting.

If you want to run black pipe, I can bring the threader up another weekend. I'm not tied to next week for any reason.

Copper is the better route I think. No internal rust issues. Better looking. Much easier to change or modify later. Etc.

Well the whole point of my second tank intercooler setup is to remove water before it even hits the system. So I'll have to go back and figure costs etc, now that a pipe threader is available.

No matter what I'm putting multiple capped Ts in the main line. No idea where I'll need air later in life but for the most part I'll likely be using a couple ceiling mounted hose reels

In fire protection, a "drum drip" is a drain on a dry sprinkler system that allows you to drain condensation without having to drain the air down. I've thought about putting one in my piping just because I can.
