I'm one of the odd few that hate stapling wires in walls... If a wire is stapled down it can't get out of the way of a stray nail or screw. You have to hit one pretty dead on if it's free to get it to penetrate. Yet a lot of places make you do it... Plus fishing new wires through starts getting pretty hard if they're all nailed down lol. I have one wire right now that I want to replace with a 3 conductor and it happens to be one of the few places I stapled down ... Can't just tie on the new wire and pull through with the old.

Dunno,... it's just something that I decided when doing mine.

Your making good progress Eric. :waytogo:
Should be working in it in no time

That’s one of the reasons why I did my whole house in EMT. Sure it took more time, was a PITA to bend and more expensive, but it’s easier to re-wire, rodents can’t chew through it, and electrical fires are no worries. Peace of mind is priceless.

If I add anything it will be in EMT and surface mounted. No more pulling wire. I do not enjoy that

Right on man. How way the ceiling progress?

So first coat up. My cousin did it all. Gonna do a second coat this coming week. Should be painting the ceiling here pretty quick. Hopefully by the weekend.

I'll snap a pic in the morning and post it.

Kind of hoping to get all the rest of the insulation and sheeting up. Be sweet to just be painting this weekend. But I'm gonna have to take a day for rest. I was only good for maybe 4 hours of solid work today.

Fortunately Keith and I work at similar speeds. So while we might not get as much done, it's much easier on me to work with Keith.

I was gonna make a joke about that speed, but you're right, having someone that works at the same speed you want to work makes things go much more smoothly.

Make the joke anyways, lol.

Kicked butt today. Thanks to Bailey, Sawyer and Kenna Lee. The kids worked their tails off especially Kenna Lee ( Keith's daughter).

Still need to do the front wall. Gonna concentrate on that tomorrow. Gotta have help to do the rest of the sheetrock and the garage door.

But really accomplished a ton.
