Budgetary issues kinda limit doing "everything".You didn't put a beam up when you built your house? I thought you would be the type to do that...

I get that, but maybe build one less bedroom and make a kid sleep outside or something?Budgetary issues kinda limit doing "everything".

Shit my kids mostly all sleep in a pile in front of the downstairs tv anyway now that school is out. I coulda built one great big closet for all their stuff and no bedrooms and been just fine.I get that, but maybe build one less bedroom and make a kid sleep outside or something?
Should have just built a one bedroom with a huge garage. And then put a wall tent up for them out back.Shit my kids mostly all sleep in a pile in front of the downstairs tv anyway now that school is out. I coulda built one great big closet for all their stuff and no bedrooms and been just fine.
I am not sure if I have room for one in my garage though.Might have to get delegated to the RV pad and just move the trailer and do certain projects out there. I have 11' ceilings in my garage. I have thought about possibly attaching a beam to the trusses running the length of my long bay that way I could at least lift and go forward and backward inline with the vehicle just without side to side.
we could have used one of those when we loaded the rumble Bee the back of my trailerOne of these would be handy but I'm sure it's only ever once in a while you have to move sideways with a load on it. https://www.amazon.com/Titan-Trolley-Gantry-Crane-Hoist/dp/B01LWQ2K7A

I know it's not a perfect world but if your shop floor is level it's not a problem.I've found that if the gantry is slightly off level (floor, pad, driveway, etc) your load will try and go down hill on you lol. I want the clamp style that stays in one place.
