Shorty the crewcab. (Been saved from the chopping block)

81 CC short bed conversion
I’d rather have all my junk sit and rot in the driveway than give any of it up….if you don’t get good money I’d keep it, heck you can still drive it to work and even take it to car shows, the car show crowds love that

I just don't use it anymore, and have not really even had the urge to drive it.
Will I miss it sometimes..., Yes! Lol. But, I just don't have time for it.
I have extraneous circumstances that require me to lessen the heard and get some cash.
May sell my Cutlass before long too.
Dunno yet. Just starting here. :dunno:

If I can't enjoy it I'd rather have someone else take care of it and enjoy it. No sense in letting it sit there and weather away and then be worth less.
Drive it into a barn cover it with dust and boxes of random shit. Take a video of you dragging it out claiming its been there for who knows how long.
That seems to sell these days.

In true Shady fashion...... Things have switched gears again.

As a family, we've decided that since the Oldsmobile was sold, we'll keep this.
BUT, it will go back to the original plan. The reason I bought it was to remake an old truck I'd had..
I got this one 10 yrs ago, from Eric to do so.

Kaz has mentioned MANY times that cars have came and went, all his life. Except this one, this one has been there all his remembered life. I bought it before he was conceived.
When it sat for sale all year without a bite, and the car sold for even more with out even listing it. It was like a sign to us.
We'll be putting it back to a normal truck.

Plan is to mimick this truck for the most part.shady (1).JPG
Exceptions will be....
1. It will be some form of blue. It's known as the blue truck, and will stay so.
2. Different wheels, because fake bead locks SUCK, lol. They catch chit and get off balance EASY.
3. I'm thinking maybe go to 4" ORD custom springs, instead of my 5.5" Frankenstein packs. And 35" tires again.

Plans also include 4l80E/241 (or 32spl 205) swap, and FI.

I want it to be NICE, and drivable by all 3 of us.

Yep. That was the plan from the day I started looking for a K30 CC and found this one.
That old red one was all super cobbled, beat up bad, 1/2 ton chit underneath.
So I ended up selling it. Never thinking about keeping it for the body.
Really should have done that

Found this one that Eric had (blazinzuk) and bought it from him. It then sat in his back yard in Wyoming for 2 years before I came up with a way to get it. Lol.

I even had a better cab and a useable short box for it for a while.... All sold of course because I chase squirrels a lot.:doah::haha:

Now Im back to square one, and starting over.
But in a better place to do so.
