Debatable. In my experience watching years of sales of these, the ones where the trucks are borderline salvageable tend to sell for half that price, if they can be sold at all. If the truck is beyond hope, all you have is an orphaned camper unit worth maybe $300 - $500, and whatever the rest of the truck is worth + the cab/bed/frame's scrap steel value.... fb marketplace.. seems like a good price...
That's Casa Grande #0855, but it's dicey on whether the truck is original to the camper unit or not. When I first saw this one years back in Crosslake MN Craigslist ads, the truck was a rusted $1000 basket case. Then it reappeared a few years later advertised for a huge price in Minneapolis with the claim that the truck was a rust free AZ one. Well, either it was an AZ truck all along where the owner replaced a whole lot of panels, or it was a non-factory original substituted for the original Blazer. The current seller put in a whole lot of his own mods, so now the question is whether it is a non-matching numbers rig with all the right mods that make it worth its current price.
I have this one as Chalet #0579, built in 8/76. I recognize it from the 4th photo in the sequence as being the same one from a set of 2017 San Leandro CA Craigslist ads, where its price wandered around from $22,000 to $16,500. Here, with the exception of the first two-Chalet photo (the other one in it is Chalet #0099 which, last I heard in January 2018, was owned by someone else) and the last one with the snow, all the other photos are directly out of those prior San Leandro Craigslist ads.
Mucho thanks for spotting that, I'm still swamped with the other things I do. It's the Chalet #0914 that I noted in my prior post here, the seller was unable to initially unload it at his first $11,500 asking price, and now it is gradually ratcheting back to what I'm guessing is his break-even price of around $5 grand. Funny thing is I'm getting lectures elsewhere on how these rigs are worth upwards of $30 grand, from guys who don't have the first clue about the recent sales history of particular rigs which are supposedly now setting new benchmarks in value.
Been wondering about that one. It is Chalet #1751, formerly owned by one of the guys at our Yahoo Autos Groups Blazer Chalet forum who created his own blog for it. But the most recent posts noted it was for sold and subsequently moved to Massachusetts.Saw this one earlier on FB Marketplace...

Mucho thanks!! for finding that one. Technically, it is tracked, in that I already know of it as '77 Casa Grande #1799, but the last time I heard from the owner according to my mega-spreadsheet notes was in 2013 when he was attempting to sell it. Never heard what the status was after that. This FB Marketplace listing would have sailed right past all my search efforts because whoever is selling it now has it pretty much totally mislabeled. At least the person got the year right. Not sure this is being tracked https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1301153003381869/
I don't know, all these people keep saying original then they start enumerating the things that have been changed.
