Indebted to you for the favor of relaying these two to me, I don't have either one of them in my mega-spreadsheet that I can readily see. Sometimes it's hard to pin old photos of vehicles in better condition to their present state. Any additinal photos of the back and passenger side and interior of the #0475 one will be appreciated. Is your friend able to share the Blazer VIN for the #0584 rig? That info and anything on prior owner history can always be PM'd to me rather than put in a public forum. Don't think I've ever seen a Kentucky state sticker on one of these before, only seen western states. Looking forward to any future pics/info you might have. Finally remembered to post these. Both owned by the same guy. ... He told me about 2 more, but I haven't been able to chase them down.
Many thanks for spotting that one, I probably missed it from being one day too early in rummaging through FB Marketplace listings across the country (I wish there was a quicker way to search instead of trying multiple 500-mile radius circles). The tell-tale things that helped me find its entry in my mega-spreadsheet is the incorrect '77 roof on it and the unpainted LPG compartment door and the custom made rear bumper. It's a '76 model year rig, Chalet #0356, built in 7/76.Here's one over the hill from Vegas. ....
Caught it about halfway through downloading the pics, it also looked familiar from the newer squarebody Blazer and the dark maroon color. A quick zip through my photo piles indicated it was the orphaned camper unit #1483 that was later installed on an '85 CUCV Blazer. This seller confirmed that.Did you notice the other one in the background?
I asked if he got the #0356 from a guy named John out of CK5, but he said that was his local pal in Pahrump who actually bought it and #1483 above, and he's working with John.I am going to troll him on the history of it. I will report back.
Many thanks for catching this one, glad the listing still works since I was away from the internet for the last couple of weeks. This one is Casa Grande #1457, which I reply-posted about back in April. At that time, I let the new owner know that the rig was painted incorrectly from 3 owners back by a guy who made an incorrect assumption of what the original factory brochure color was, and he told me the prior seller told him it was an all-original rig. Rather than take legal action against the prior owner seller for misrepresenting the rig to get his money back, the people (relatives, I think) selling are now trying to flip it for a $25,000 profit.www.facebook.com
An understatement about what buyers with loads of dollars but no sense are paying. If only I had that kind of extra cash to burn ........Now that's just crazy. but these are crazy times
I have at least a few pics of the interior from prior sales. It is not a fully stock original interior.Fancy paint adds 60,000 dollars, and no pix. of the interior, sure is shiny
I have one of those signs
I definitely want the backstory on this one. There are thousands of images of this one all over the web.here's one i saw today

Me too on the Snickers. But when the guy said his is better than the on on BAT, it better be original for an apples to apples comparison. This thing isn't original. Axles, suspension, bumper and hood are the main four that are not original.Mine has the plather options too,but they don't say any thing about 8 lugs,or if it has a 400ci,then that bumper,is 5000lbs or 5000.oo$$,no close up on ps side or the refrigerator, or heater but lot of the out side pix....
Maybe I need a snickers
