In all seriousness, I'd like to do a stack on my truck, but I want all of my bed to be used as a bed. I was thinking about just going thrugh the hood similar to a pulling truck, but I'm sure there are legality issues with that.

Are you putting some kind of heat sheild around it?

I just gotta ask, do you prefer the single stack over the dual? Not a big single stack fan myself. Specs on truck?

Now you get to spend the day cleaning soot off of your trail rig once you get to the trail head.

No its not for everyone, but the single is for me. It keeps the smoke off the road too, for the most part. Not like a ricer can at all. pure function of relocating the smoke from the road to the air.

This is my trail rig/daily driver/pure toy. I've just decided to hit the engine first. I haven't dynoed yet but I'll be very near the high 500rwhp...maybe even dare I say 600rwhp.

AFE, Smarty ECM, TST PM3, Industrial Injection HRVP, Jammer 5 150hp injectors, Holset Twins HX40 HT4C, relocate LP w/1/2" line no more banjos, ARP HeadStuds.
2" coil spacers, Solid Steel DSS & 3rd Gen trackbar conversion, Borgeson shaft,
5" straight, SBC DD 3600, short shift, updated 5th nut and welded

Well at least you didn't just throw a stack on there without doing anything to the motor first. lol

Not too fond of the single stack, but very nice setup. How do you like the twins?

My only concern is that it makes the exhaust work that much harder to expel the gases. It has to climb a vertical chamber now to exit. The exhaust pulses will start to back up somewhat when climbing the stack.

Another thing is that turbo's (assuming you have a Cummins) don't like exhaust systems. The shorter the exhaust pipe, the better.

I would say it might hinder HP/torue rather than help it.

And it appears you might have to make a shroud to protect anything that might touch it during transport of anything in the back of the truck.

You don't actually believe that do you?

This exhaust IS 3' shorter than stock and with less bends AND no muffler.......stock system is 3" I run a 5" down pipe off the 5" outlet of my secondary turbo...........directly into a 6" stack. how much back pressure do you think there is?

Flappers are gHay. Thats all I have to say about that.

Rain......are you serious? There is no problem.
