Awesome upgrade.Well work should be resuming soon. Just got the keys yesterday, we start moving next weekend. 30+ years working in a gravel driveway is over.

There's a disc brake kit, an a/c rebuild kit, full exhaust kit, 5spd manual kit, a new engine and related parts and a bunch of small parts to be installed. I've had a lot of those parts since 2014/15. And with all that I have a full cart on Summit racing.Thats an impressive pile o parts!
It's getting a Tremec TKO600 5spd although I wish the TKX was available at the time.I like first gen Monte's and I like even more that you're manual swapping it. What transmission are you using?
Tits!Got a bit of work done on the Monte today. Indexed the bell housing, installed clutch and 5spd, made up and routed the plug wires and test fit the second set of headers. Tomorrow, get the rear axle back under the car.

I forgot about this post and had to go back and see if it was the tko. They are good transmissions. As longs as you’re not doing 5k clutch dumps with slicks…It's getting a Tremec TKO600 5spd although I wish the TKX was available at the time.

Fancy.Time to fit up tires so I can get some wheels. I know they'll fit the rear just need to get the right specs on the wheels. While I'm at it I'm going to see if I can get them to fit the front with the same wheel spec as the rear. If that doesn't work I have a plan B for the front.
