Spring trip to Rausch Creek Offroad Park***June 9th & 10th 2012***

Looks like I will be there. I will either get there Friday early evening or early Sat. morning and staying till Sunday afternoon.

So, who is looking to run what type of trails?

Green- Easy, good for stockers.
Blue- Not really hard, I would say stock can do some with some spotting but I would recommend at least 33's.
Black- At least 1 locker and at least 35's and some spotting.
Red- Trailered rigs, 2 lockers, 36's and up.
There are also some that are purple on the maps, they are a blue and black combo.

If you are going to run blacks and above expect possible body damage. No matter what I would have at least a t case skid and gas tank skid. I will run any of the trails. Have good tow points on both the front and rear. Carry a fire extingusher and a small med kit.

I will try and make it. I'll know for sure as the time gets a little closer. I will probably bring my buddy too with his Jeep.

Assuming I can make it, overtime willing, I will be doing green and depending how i feel maybe some blue.

Anyone else thats going essentially stock?

Im getting interested and I am essentially stock with some 33s.

I'm definately going, and I am basically stock on 32" Goodyear MTR's. I plan on running anything a stock blazer can run. I figure my wife, son, and I will enjoy watching some of you on the more difficult stuff. Oh, and planning on doing some videotaping too. Wayne, do most of the trails have bypasses for the difficult stuff? Will we be able to tag along in our mostly stock rigs? Also, since you already touched on it, maybe Wayne or some others with more experience/knowledge with Rausch Creek can help get us organized better for when we are actually onsite and ready to go? Should we split into groups, get a few group leaders, etc.... I am obviously not the best person for this, and being a newb, I don't want my inexperience to hinder anyone from having a great weekend. My whole goal was to get a group of us together and have some fun, so maybe my job is almost done? Also, I got some bad news from my wife, she informed me that she is not cooking that weekend...

If i can make it (my new job has mandatory overtime) I have a couple propane camp stoves I can bring, So If my wife doesn't come/wont cook, I will be bringing plenty of steak, potatoes and brats

Some of the trails have bypasses but the real nice thing is alot of the harder stuff is close to easy trails so you can stop and watch. Donna and I can help organize as needed. Depending on how many rigs come and what groups they want to run will determine how everybody splits up. Remember to pack a cooler for out on the trails. There are some nice places to stop for lunch.

im going for green and blue myself.my buddy is going to be buying a jeep on 33s so that is where he'll be as well.if there is a harder trail thats doable ill try it,but my 40 year old iron i dont wanna get too messed up.i dont have lockers either which will inhibit the harder trails.i blew my detroit last time i was out 5 years ago.so this will be a kinda shakedown run as well to see where my truck actually stands on the harder stuff.

Blues & Green with a few blacks, I'm not it to spending alot of time only to move a few feet. The vehicles in a group the slower the pace becomes, I suggest groups of 4-6. Then everyone can meet at one place for lunch. Just my .02 .:D

i would love to join a group running blacks and possibly reds, not concerned with body damage but i dont have a cage yet,

a lot of trails merge at a black or red with the easier green and blues.i wana see some of you guys on the crazier stuff.im going to put in at least a rollbar so i can go topless hopefully.it will be better to move in small groups i think as well.it will be better to get around trails and not block things up.

Nick is the truck on the top pic and that is blue/black but the pic is a black section. On the bottom with my junk, that is a red. It is the crack on Crawler Ridge and Nick is on Yellow Jacket.
