a few pics and some of what i have started. I took a few scraps of wood and carved a channel in to straiten (partly) the steel line. Got a 25 foot roll from orielys for 28 bucks. want to install or run fuel line in prep for the efi kit which will be here tuesday. so im not trying to get it all one day.
will post links later today for the stuff i bought.

First pic is the stuff i have acquired sending unit, fuel pump, fuel filter, fittings and and braided line
second is how i straitened the fuel line since it comes in a 25 foot coil
third i put it (the wood) in the vice and had my brother help me unroll it.
helpful hint when you do this it takes a few passes of straightening the steel before it doesnt want to curl back up on you.
Forth is the line laying in the garage (I know its hard to see but didnt want to continue the wind starting to blow.) and i know it is not perfectly strait doubt i will get it that way just wanted a starting point.

Question: should i put a clamp on the pump? like a worm gear clamp? I have seen others do it.

i just happen to have a t-bolt style And im talking around the pump to the return tube so it doesnt flop around

I am going to start plumbing the fuel system in the morning in prep for the kit in the evening more pics tomorrow night

i got the rear half wired plumbed and secured the fuel line on the firewall.
Future reference: USE BRAIDED HOSE. it is less of a pain in the ass than hard line.

HAHAHA thats a good one...i was on my back by myself and it was no fun.I do like the fact hard line will last.

Reading instructions and this thing has A/C KICK UP!!!! I WILL LOVE THAT!!!!!!

drove about 15 miles after setting the timing and it runs better than expected.
i had 3 fuel leaks but that going to happen when running new fuel line.

Glad to hear you got it up and running. Nothing too challenging?

nope just cracked a fuel line bending it and didnt see it.
This system has a fuel cut to where your decelerating it cuts fuel and i am going to turn that off just have to watch the vid on how to do it.
