Started some tube work... Update 8-21-11

Nice, It's like a whole new truck. I was curious what you guys got done today. It will turn out so nice and with all the neat things you can stuff in there.

Yep, it'll be nice to have somewhere to put gear now. That box has worked out well but it's only good for spare parts/tools/fluids.

Yeah its to bad your truck didn't have a bed on it for storing stuff ...........:haha:

J/K J/K it looks really good!!

so is the box staying or are you going to get a bigger one? 1 or 2 of those pull out drours would be very helpfull and add some weight for traction.

I got the cell from Summit. It only holds 17 gallons but I liked how skinny it was for where I wanted to mount it. I'll carry a couple gas cans and should be good to go.

I like the tank.... I'm also digging the design..... is that it for the tube, or do you guys have more planned?

Nice start to the cage. I like the crossmember cage support. Keep throwin tube at it and it will be bad ass.

Oh no, we still have a bunch of tube to add to it. We're just limited on the amount of time we can work on it so we do it a little at a time.

Thanks, my friend who is helping me with the tube work came up with the crossmember idea. That's how he did it on his truck and it held up really well.

We have a trip the weekend of the 2nd so we had to get enough tube in to make it "wheelable".... more to come later.

that came out awesome!

just needs some tabs off the bars for the shocks and it looks complete to me. You going to add more?

Oh yeah, this isn't done yet. I guess I should clarify... we're going on a trip the weekend of the 2nd so we had to get it to the point that I wouldn't tweak it during that trip. I painted it because anything we add now we can just wipe a spot clean on the tube and touch up paint afterwards. I just didn't want it to rust.

And the flip is still bare steel! Awesome, I love it, the whole thing.
