Stomis' 94 Street Truck - Snail Trail

That's not too bad, just a couple evenings worth of work. I'm really interested in seeing how it runs, our builds have a lot in common and should be close to the same weight. Except you have way better engine management.

What's your cam specs?

Lil johns motorsports stage 2 single turbo.

Getting close, I want to see track videos, so we get some real numbers! :waytogo:

I don't remember seeing it, but I'm assuming you got bigger injectors now with the turbo setup?

I think you have it covered, but if you need any help with the Holley software let me know.

Yeah I traded up to some 96lb precisions. Plenty much enough injector to fuel me to any horsepower level Ill ever hit as long as its not e85.

Got my fuel cell moved back for weight displacement. Made a small subframe so I could sink it into the bed and some new straps.

Finally checked driveshaft hoop off the list.

Got all the extra holes in my firewall all filled in and body worked. Found these sweet grommet for the harness called "Rigging Grommets" on amazon for $8. Way better than the $35 I was ready to drop on the mcmaster carr 2 pieces. This one is a 2" and I was just barely able to get the holley connectors threw it. Ill be using a 3in for the impala Im swapping now.

Also finally fixed the popped paint on the bed sides from doing the tubs. This was a bitch to fix. Very tough body work spot because of the crease at the over fender and how it fades off the body line and such. Took me way longer than I expected but its back painted as of last night.

Basically been delayed by work on this thing. I plumbed the gates and BOV.

I went to hook up the mechanical oil pressure sensor, couldnt get the line on, decided to redo the line, lost the ferrule, got mad went inside and ordered pressure sensors for my oil, fuel, and dome pressure for boost control lol. So now the holley will see my fuel pressure, which is cool and I think will make tuning better, or at least data logging so I can know if theres ever a fuel pressure related issue. At least I found senders for $18 each instead of the $110 holley wants...

I also started building the 9in I had laying around for it. Found a fresh 3.55 third member for $300 with a spool I should be able to sell for $100 or so. I pulled the trigger on this because a friend wanted to buy my tru-trac thats in the 8.5 and Im just gonna blow it up anyway so I figured Id cash in on it before it breaks. When all is said and done the rear swap should be a wash. Reusing my 9in pockets, brakes, shock brackets. The labor from building his rear should cover a 35 spline spool and axle package.

Damn man, that sucks to hear after all the work you put in already. I understand though, I got close to that level with my s10 right before it got on the road. I will say, it was all worth it the first time it came into boost lol

He hasn't been on here since June of 2019. So I wouldn't hold your breath on an update any time soon.
