Stomis' 94 Street Truck - Snail Trail

Hey now...

Gonna get the full firewall and door jams shot flat black. Got my drivers fender off and gutted and both of them prepped for flat black on the inside. Ive also got to move my washer bottle to the core support since there will be nothing to mount it too. With all that room in the radiator support now I ordered a 90* silicone coupler to drop the air filter right in full flow of air in the grill.

was just going to say, while it's all apart you ot to work in some sort of cold intake set up. Spectre has some inline airfilter boxes that will allow you to run a duct down behind the bumper etc.

that's a hell of a diet you're on btw!

Totally out of sequence but man I really want to order my water/meth injection...

Sold some toyota stuff I had laying around today so looks like I'll be ordering my $400 mickey thompson front runners soon... I kinda wish I didnt have to spend that much on front tires...

I had wanted to run a regular radial but theres nothing in the range of 28in tall and 5-6in wide. When I first had the truck I had a 26in tall front tire on it and it looked really really dumb because of how big the wheel well is. It really needs a 28in tall tire. In hindsight I should have found a pair of 15x5 front wheels so I could run a 28x7in front tire, thats a standard radial size but I got the 15x3.5s for such a good deal I kinda got stuck running a drag tire. I mean the S/Rs are a good street tire, the pro-touring and pro-street guys love them and hopefully they'll last a long ass time.

Plugged away on the truck tonight. Got it to the point where I can shoot the rad support.

Ram air box is done, radiator mounts are fabbed, radiator is modified.

Made the tabs on the radiator really stretched out to distribute the load.

Also got the front runners in. Should be going on Monday.

So Ive been trying to sneak working on this thing in today lol. Ran over to the shop in the morning and painted the core support before taking off 2 hours each way to the inlaws for Christmas. Came home and hit the shop on the rebound to throw the front end on lol.

Way more room to work w/o inner fenders. Im still thinking I'll make some aluminum half skirts to keep things clean though.

Why does this damn forum keep failing to notify me of awesome updates to this thread?
I had this problem with a few of mine. I went through as many as I could and "unwatched" and then clicked "watch" and made sure email notification was clicked. I hope that helps.
