When my Th350/208 died I swapped in a 465/205. I was heading to my house and my buddy was folowing me in his 83 Buick Regal. Came to a stop sign, put it in creeper and floored it. Tires started smoking, power shifted into 2nd (1st?), the 10b rearend didn't like that. Broke the carrier, but didn't spit anything out. Not a problem I thought to myself, my house is only 3 miles away with 5 turns, I'll just lock in the hubs and drive home in front wheel drive. That worked fine untill I went to make the first turn, broke a u-joint in the front axle. When that went it took both shafts with it. We towed it the rest of the way with the Buick. Once we got it home, and I inspected the damage, The c-clip was knocked off one of the axle shafts in the rear end. I got lucky that the shaft didn't walk out.
Another time I was leaving a friends house and decided to do a burnout. Rev it up and dump the clutch in 2nd, this time the center pin in the 12b broke. Locked in the hubs and did a front wheel burnout on the way home.
I've also spit out quite a few rear u-joints since I swapped in the 14bff.
