^^^^with nick whats the news about this spring trip? and for anyone interested we will be back at rausch the 24th 25th and 26th of october.

So I think I figured out my death wobble problem.... I can grab the tie rod and rotate it close to 90 degrees.... Think my ends are shot

I am going to be getting the parts tomorrow and putting them in as soon as I can as I am very confident that this is the problem....

Its weird, I feel like I looked at this when I first started having the issue and never noticed anything wrong. I was going to change my steering stabilizer and went to take the nut off and the whole thing rotated on me and I was like :eek1::eek1::eek1:

WFO has good TRE's that are a little more Beef. I used them for my home brew high steer.

Got some stuff in the works over here..... :pimp:

I just bought a DIY4X shackle flip and cross tied shackles from a member here. Looking to put this on and get some good shocks for the rear and hopefully it will make a bit of a difference in the ride quality.... I am sick of loosing fillings when I am on the trail.

Fronts are gonna stay the same for now, unless I come upon a good deal on some ORD springs or something like that....

I am also on the hunt for a trailer. I really am not comfortable putting this thing through the rigors of off-roading and having to count on it to drive back 100+ miles.... SO with that being said, lots of changes on the horizon for me.

This seems to be the trend. You start modding and wheeling some harder trails. Next, comes the trailer to be comfortable minded when out playing.
Don't skimp on a tow rig. That is my number one advise. Gas won't cut it if you have to pull hills. Getting back to a comfortable stock truck after wheeling in the cold or dust is a great feeling.

I disagree a little with this "gas won't cut it" theory. I had a 01 2500HD with the 8.1 big block in it, and it would pull all day long without a problem. I do agree, diesel's are nice, but you don't have to go that route if you don't want to. Also the non-towing fuel mileage that the diesel's get is a nice feature too.

On another note....

What size of trailer you going for?

I am gonna use my dads Powerstroke for now and figure something out. Just bought a car back in April, and I am regretting it now :doah:

Looking for an 18 foot 10K dual axle job, should be more than enough.
