Swetty, after the cab swap, do a stepside bed on the back with the front steps cut off. That way you still have a usable bed and it won't look like a redneck jungle gym going down the road.

and yes, you need weight in the back, mine was lifting tire all over the place without the bed on it![]()

I'm honestly thinking of doing a rectangular steel frame with a wood deck. We'll see what happens though, my skills and tools are limited.
