My 1984 c-10 had the SERVICE PARTS IDENTIFICATION STICKER affixed to the drivers side fender well , in the engine bay. My paint is 72 Apple red solid ;option #172L.
Anybody have a VIN and title for a 73-87 pickup? PM me...

NJ is a crazy state. Swetty is worried if he gets pulled over shows his registration the cop will question it and impound his truck cuz its not a blazer(station wagon). We are in the same boat as the tub I bought didn't come with a vin or title, and his cab didn't come with a title.

Not really. The hoops I'd have to jump through are way worse than trying to find a vin plate and title

He got pulled over and cop says your vin matches but this is a pickup and the title says blazer.
He told the cop that the Blazer was rusty and he grafted a pickup cab on. Cop said you should go in and get it changed.
Went into DMV hey my Blazer is a pickup now.
They went out looked at it

It's a lot harder than that in many states.
In Michigan a referee inspects it, classifies it, and then issues a VIN if they clear it. Which they don't always. A friend put a S10 body on a K5 years ago and it was quite a process to get it legal.
