I still havent even cut my air cleaner base and it was noticeable, I think i should get that done. I'm making my own dual inlet CAI though so maybe I'll wait till then

Cut it. Its easy, and the air cleaner really is the point of restriction for you now....salad bowl or not.

not cutting it pretty much defeats 90% of it's benefits imo...

the air will still come in from the sides of the pods more, but I know it is deffinately not ideal. Just never got to it. Planned on having my other setup done by now. Life got in the way in the form of a GF. Time and $$$ are a lot shorter now. But its worth it
