Teck's '86 K5 Build -5.3 LS/4L65E swap

Got it back from the exhaust shop this afternoon.
It seem to be running better all the time. Keep finding little thing to fix, #8 plug wire came off this time.

86 was the year I was born

My truck is doing that too teck! Give it a couple weeks of daily driving! Mine runs really good now compared to when i first got it running.

Just need to get all the bugs worked out of it.

I hear ya. The computer really does do a good bit of "learning" that just makes it even smoother, powerful, and responsive! Do you just have the stock tune in it still?

Pretty much.
Their going to check the tune when we install the AC compressor

I had a plug wire come off too after driving mine some when I first got the swap done. Haven't had any more come off nice then.

Hopefully I finally get all the plug wires fixed so they will stay on.
Need to just get the tune checked, keep getting a code P0171, fuel trim system lean.
But it does not smile lean at all.

Just got some new LED bulbs form super bright leds for the K5.
After cleaning, painting with chrome paint and putting all new bulbs in it the gauges still weren't bright enough for me.
