Teck's '86 K5 Build -5.3 LS/4L65E swap

It does look better in the front hole, but it doesn't seem like it is going to pull all the way down.

Need to find a new front diff cover, any input on what kind.

Not sure if it will fit with the hydro. That's the prob not as much to choose from on a 10 bolt.

Looking at one of kerts covers for the 14 bolt. Not seeing one for the 10 bolt. Maybe he can make me one for the 10 bolt so they will match.

This one looks kinda cool,

If you turn your wheel all the way to the right you can usually adjust the draglink a full turn at a time without removing one end. Now, if you need a finer adjustment, you have no choice but to remove one end and just turn one end.

Got the new studs form ORD tonight. Hope to get them install in the morning.

Going on vacation with family and friends but will get to do some short drives for sure. Need to run it back to the exhaust shop to get flange put in before the mufflers, so I can then take it off to get ceramic coated. Maybe I can get it over there Wednesday.

Got the studs in.
Test drove it to the house, stoped and put fuel in it for the first.

Seriously! Thats got to be one hell of a good feeling!
Not really knowing how it would be and if it would make it without any problems, it's around 9 miles each way. A little nervous at first but then it was a good feeling after I made it to the house. It does make some noise but it is all newly built. Pops and ratels.:doah:

Man that thing is a showpiece, excellent job, it couldn't be any cleaner.

Is it just me or does the front look higher than the rear?
