That line was original sent to the charcoal canister up front. It has a valve that closes, only if the Shinny side is up.
Teck,
Got my seat back this evening from being recovered. Now I can finish the interior this week.![]()
Hey teck!
When I get mobile again from this damn back surgery can we get together
see if I can get you to come my way and check out the build for pointers
Especially this issue above
Will have to find some time to do that.Sounds good
I'm really looking forward to meeting up with y'all! Will have to find some time to do that.
The 5.3 run really good with lots of power.Just read your build from post one. An adventure for sure. Every CK5 member has already told you twice how exceptionally clean and detailed your truck is, so I will go ahead and say it again. It exists in some narrow plane between an '80s FourWheeler Magazine cover truck and a concourse restoration.
How much better is the 5.3 than the old small block?
The consistent start and running is one of my favorite things about my LS swap. Power is nice, but no hassle running is freakin' sweet. The 5.3 run really good with lots of power.
It is nice that it just starts up and runs with no problems even if it sits for awhile.
No notching done to the crossmemberGreat build. Wondering how close the bottom of the sump of the oil pan is to anything? The gen 4 oil pans are about an inch shallower than gen 3. Also, with the dirty dingo mounts and energy replacement inserts, was any notching required on the factory crossmember? I'm trying to keep my K5 factory ride height and suspension
One more question, what radiator hold down plate is that? Thanks
