The 2wd burb thread. Fixed!!!!

2wd big block burb tow rig
is that a trans fluid puddle underneath?

Dude I'm jealous...

Okay, idea just crossed my mind, keep the white top and bottom, extend that burgundy (or what ever it is) up the whole side of the truck, pull the rear most side windows and fill the holes with sheet medal to make a 'panel' look. Bags. Stock trim and bumpers and handles and everything else to keep it clean... like the lowered one below, but filled windows like the camo one...

Don't do that...

Nice rack! :wink1:

I crawled under the burb for the first time.

Pitman arm needs replaced. No biggie.

But snapped some photos of the bottom.

Yep it's that good. I'm gonna have to do something to help it out.

Also I was not sure if this would be a 10.5 14 or a 9.5

But pretty happy about this

I have 4.10s or 3.73s I could toss in if I wanted to.

4.10s would be awesome if I could score a gear vendors. But I did one tank of fuel pretty conservative, the next not so much.

Mileage went down to just below 9 so I dropped almost 1.5 mpgs. So the 3.42s will stay

Sooo headers. Did a bit more looking. Both exhaust manifolds are cracked. Not bad but they are leaking a tiny bit.

So what's decent out there. I can't spend a ton on em. I'd love some Sanderson headers but those aren't in the budget now. New manifolds look to be around 50 each.

What's decent. I really don't wanna be tightening bolts all the time. I don't wanna blow out gaskets either.

As far as the rest of the exhaust I need to look and see should be simple to do a crossover tube. I like a single exhaust. But will do a dual if easier

You've gotta be the only one on here who's happy to have found a pinion leak. :wink1:

I assume the axle linkage is for the late-model adjustable rear brakes?

That's the load sensitive proportioning valve , it's suppose to give you more rear brake bias under load . But they usually rust up solid and don't work.

That's neat, I never knew the load sensing valves came on Subs, I thought they were a truck only (higher gvwr) thing.
