The Beige Jimmy

Gotcha. Just buy some new brake line and bend it to the shape you need. I never use a bender.

One thing I've found with brake line fittings is buy quality tube wrenches. I had trouble on the crew cab so I bought SK brand tube wrenches and they worked perfectly. You can really tell how much tighter they fit the flare nut.

Get some cobra pliers for when the round off. Best tpliers ever. They grip tighter when you use them. Work great for studs and pipe fittings too.

I have a pair of those, I'll give them a go.

My Husky flare wrenches are kinda flimsy, unsurprisingly.

Slow progress is still progress. Did a little touch up courtesy of Krylon flat black primer+paint.

I got the old frozen brake fitting apart with a propane torch and PB Blaster. Didn't round it over terrible bad, hopefully I can get her snuggled down without further rounding.

I like to get it spinning as freely as I can, and clean up the pipe, before I put it back together.

Help me understand this front u joint won't come apart as easily as the rear u joint did.
I had a devil of a time with the cups attached to the yoke, but the cups on the driveshaft side don't let me pound it out far enough to pull the cup off from the outside.
