Yeah it originated on a dodge. My buddy got tired of tripping over it, so we cannibalized it.

And I still have 205s laying around

Ok, I was wondering about the year but didn't realize it was a Dodge case.

What's the difference?
Outwardly, not much
Has 23 input, which is better now

32 out rear, 30? Out on the front
Does not have the boss on the side of the case for the frame mount. Which is cool, because with it clocked, that's worthless

I will like to utilize that front output though, so I'll look for a CV chunk off a dodge so I can use the drive flange

Most, if not all, Dodge and Ford 205's have a 32 spline front output shaft.

Yeah he had it on Craig's for months, no takers.
Converting it to a GM case was its last hope. I'll try selling the input/outputs but doubt I'll get takers.

Took some looks under there this afternoon. I can sneak the duals past the t cases. I do believe I will drop the exhaust clean out and start over, moving the mufflers back always and getting a cross over back in there.

As it is, the summer fun has worked the exhaust donuts out

crossover behind the 205 and go through one muffler?

Yeah guess you could call it that. This one is not needing as much attention as the one on yours, but close.

Gonna drop it out, brush the rust off, grind the welds down and repaint eveything with the new layout
