image.jpg Pulled the rear diff and bumper. PO had welded the receiver to the bumper and frame. I used the torch to cut the receiver off the frame, did save all of the frame and bumper mounts.

I'd like to say I worked all day cleaning up the cut, but I have a 7" grinder, so that was quick. Torched the rivets off everything else in the way of the ORD flip brackets

image.jpg A buddy of mine let me play with with his toys. Here I'm fly cutting the top of the passenger side flat top on a M head Bridgeport.

image.jpg Bonnie is helping me mount the tires. I run internal ballast on all my off road tires to keep from losing the wheel weights

Just out of curiosity, what are you using to balance them? I had Airsoft BB's in mine and i wasn't a fan.

Last set I used BB shot load. Worked well, no tire disbalance even up to 80mph. I remember putting 6 oz of the small packages in from Crossman, maybe 1/2 oz each.

Kinda fun when you stop, you can hear them bounce around. There is a compound that is used for commercial applications, but I have not hunted that down

Hmmm, thats not a bad idea. I think the commercial stuff is called Equal IIRC.... Love the build by the way!

Thanks! I promise some better pictures the next few days as more parts come in.

I do believe you are correct, Equal is the brand name.

Nice looking knuckle.

Your moving along pretty quick

Yes, I have parts and a torch. I'm dangerous!

New shackles in:
You can see the factory rivet holes for reference
The springs are 58image.jpg " Furd springs, 26.5" length from the front bolt to the center pin.
This allows me to retain the factory front hangers in the stock location

14sf with 4.10 gear
64" Chevy springs to augment the wimpy Ford springs I already am using. Too much spring wrap
