Well, I will be trailering the truck to and from Moab with the duramax. I found a way I can borrow a trans if it is needed.

One year since the start of this thread, thanks everyone for input or just being along for the ride.
Mostly minor things need to be taken care of before Moab. Most critical being the front pass brake line needs replaced. Sprung a leak somehow
New CB is in, it works. Need to add some tie down points in the bed for the cooler, spare parts and such. Like to adjust the hand throttle a bit, check the seals on the fuel caps so it doesn't leak out the tanks. And a switch for the transfer pump
