Recovered from Christmas presents, none of which were for the truck
:confused:

Today ordered the adapter plate to drop the TBI unit onto my carb manifold.
Inquired about the TBI chip, and have a line on the computer.

Doing the research about tank pump-sending units vs frame pump
Ordering the tank splitter valve today as well

Having been there done that, felt pretty bad for you guys

This was part of my original plan, the Bent 77 is my only 4x at this point, I didn't want it apart during the winter.
Gathered some stuff to sell, and enough parts to build a fresh SBC
Started doing some more pricing and research.

In the next few weeks I should have all the injection parts, then order the ARB and bearings for the rear diff
 
Went shopping
Cut a tire down a few weeks back. Didn't want to donate to tires again, but I believe in full size spares. This will go on, take one of the used tire off for the spare

Need to go junk yarding for another harness. The one I was given has been pruned of the knock, temp, oil, and fuel relay terminals...

Hmmm. Free anyways .
 
Are you looking for a certain year, or model?
Unfortunately I probably have what you want, just 250 miles away. I have a '79 K5 with a Howell harness in it. But it would need pulled. I don't know what it is based on.

This new set up will be identical to the Bruiser, using the 7747 computer. All of the items will be there for the factory TBI , including the above and injector, IAC, TPS, MAP, but also the VSS .

If you are that bored and parting it out, let me know

That system is 1987 based, but several years in there could work.
What computer #?
 
I think it's a 7747. I will check hopefully tomorrow. It's hiding at my work.
I have been trying to get this K5 parted, but real slow at it. It was running with TBI when I got it, but I don't know the exact condition of the harness. I will let you know if I get it pulled.

Haha! I was editing the last post, yeah I am parting it.
It had VSS as well.
