Where are you going to mount it?
Debating that. I don't like them through the radiator.
Mounted one on the K5 for years under the driver headlight, inside the engine comp. no issues with it, kinda my leading thought

I've seen them mounted on the bottom of the core support from the factory.

My trans cooler is mounted in front of the radiator with brackets that span across the opening for the radiator. I too dislike the thru the radiator mounting. I'd actually like to open up the air flow in front of the radiator by moving my trans cooler somewhere else. I already have an electric fan on it so I just need to figure out a safe place to put it.

image.jpeg My second choice is just offset the radiator

Something like that could work for my trans cooler but I don't feel like I have that spot as clear as yours. :dunno:

image.jpeg Only picture of consequence from boosting the pump. This is the original valve fitting out of the 72 when I swapped in the o-ring style lines.
Already drilled out the orifice and notched the sides.

Took the valve apart , clipped the pin, and dropped in 2x #4 washers to boost the pressure

@70jimmy I did replace the belt and hose

Mini Me #3, Alli pulling off the stripes. She's wants to repaint it

Clipped the front fender back on the trailing edge. Welding the lip of the flare back on and doing some cosmetic work.
No other pictures til paint on that!

From where?
I got it from Howell.

Not only same company, but same guy who programmed the K5 chip in '06.
I was always real happy with the way it ran. Doesn't require any mods to the computer itself, still functions open and close loop like a factory chip.

Should be here Friday, still waiting for a few other things to do the change over. Not the least being the other saddle tank is full...

Ran the lip of the fender back about 3" on the bottom, permanent clearance while maintaining most of the contours.

Did the same on the front, but this one looked better

You take any pics of exactly what you did there?
I cut if off

I burn back on

I kid. I haven't done the driver side yet, I will take a few shots as I go.
Long story short, I cut it shaped like a shark fin. Three inches back at the bottom, coming back into the mid part of the upper radius
I cut it in half and added about an inch of sheet metal.
Then lots of lame-o filler work
