In retrospect, I would recommend stretching the wheel well if the clearance was needed to suit.
THat way keeping the original contour and lip.

When this rusts thru I patch panel them back

No, I didn't make it last year. But my old K5 did.

that is what is throwing me off. Coming out of metal masher down the hill I thought I ran out of gas and borrowed some from the k5 owner.

You bring up a point though. We need name tags with CK5 handles also on them.
I can't remember about half the people I meet there before I get home. But I have an excuse, grey hair...

About me running out of gas? shhhh don't tell anyone I ran BB15 with a finger tight ground on the battery causing it to surge. :haha:

everyone thought vapor lock because of the heat...

So truck updates:

Still running the fuel out before I drop the tanks for pumps. Passenger side is still full.
Need to order the passenger side tank pump, waiting to confirm no issues with the one going in the driver's side before I do that.

Ordered a crap ton o' parts, going to pick them up on Friday. Not spilling the beans until that happens.

Ordering new front drive line Monday, also having 1350 joints fixed to the original drive line. Then I have a spare for each end.

That's all there is for now other than fender hacking.
