I consider myself short, and I would not be able to drive your truck.

Youse guys must be vanilla gorillas.

Honestly, I'm normal height at 5'9". I just gots hella short legs. The seat is as far forward as it will go and still engage 4H. It is what it is.
Seriously thinking of cutting the shifter at the second bend and bringing the shift knob 3" closer to the seat. Cuz yeah, shorts arms too

Yep, 6'4", long legs and seat all the way back. I'm looking forward to some other seats down the road.

Did you read the tape correctly? ???

Just wondering. ....
I didn't know if you were reading the metric scale. ..

I would not like the radio there.
I might have metric legs on a standard body.
I'm sure you had to move the seat back in the Bruiser

Looks be in a good place for this midget. Better than the Mic cable swinging around like a cheap 70s key party

Ordered this trinket to unshroud the injector pod. I already have the tall pod gasket and ordered a Morse gauge adapter to go in the back.
Going to bump the fuel pressure to 15 psi

Has anyone actually noticed a difference with one of those?

Martin
The pod spacer supposedly was dyno proven to add power, but seriously can't be a huge difference. I'm going to change it when I have the pod off to weld a bolt to the reg so it's externally adjustable

The air cleaner bottom is raised an inch more that what I have, so I can eliminate the coffee can riser the factory used.
At one point we dynoed a carbureted 363" SBC and found 10 hp in the air cleaner base risen ~2" above the top of the carb. Realistically only useful above 4000 RPM

Getting the air around the injectors will be the biggest benefit I think. These motors are choked at the 600 CFM the TBI is rated for. No need to amplify that problem trying to suck the air past everything

Oh, I know there are gains to be had with air cleaners.

I watched a sbc pick 30 horsepower up at the rear wheels just by removing an air cleaner. It had one of those silly little 1" tall, 6" wide air cleaners.

Yeah those are junk.
What i can prove is I did something similar on my K5, and the fuel mileage increased. This is just less red neck than how I did that one...

Fyi, I am 6'2" and I do have long legs. My leg/knee gets nowhere near my CB. Maybe K5's sit further back. I have never had an issue.

A Blazer cab has way more room, as there is no back of the cab right behind the seat.
