A dremel and some patience makes a Hurst Quarter stick shifter a 203 shifter

fyi should of used old linkage .

and add a flat washer to that combo or the lock washer ( they suck ) will work its way in to the grove .

last you need the spacer and snap ring on the body of the shifter shaft so it dosnt slide in and jamb up on the input gear and shift fork .

Have the snap ring, but missing the washers.
I have no parts from the original linkage, and am planning on fabricating those out anyway

Clean garage day

One load to the scrapper already. New hood going on so I can get to the rest of my parts. Going to clean up the 465 today

hay @bent72 stop that . . .

I am cleaning shop today also . . .

you should see my bench with a 4l80/203/205 on it and also a torn down 203 and 205 waiting for a doubler kit . its for my buddys truck build he has in the project plan work stage .

I love these 203/205 cases and building doubler kits is easy :cool1:

Yeah had enough not getting to anything

About ready to roll the 465 out and strip it out side. So I don't have to sweep later...

ya I found 3/4 of the bed on my new plow truck build in the shop . was covered in cardboard and box's and other junk .

I got a few weeks worth of wood stove starter now in cut up cardboard . . . cardboard

Dang that paint almost matches! Looking Good! Need to go out and work on mine since it's in the 60's right now.

It's closer to the rest of the truck than the rattle can blue for sure.

Didn't kill it today, but got that done and the 465 and adapter completely stripped clean. Got the adapter painted
Garage is cleaned as well as the bench. Ordered a tranny widget thing. I will separate the tranny and bell housing then and go through the tranny and clean up the bell housing

Decided I will build the shifter in place. Easier than taking measurements off a dirty and installed tranny
When the day comes to swap, I'll pull the seat, doors, and dog house, Install the conglomeration, and build the shifter.

Don't think I'm going to wait until spring. Starting to get the itch
