early days of gm trucks our vintage you could get factory skid plate . 2 crossmembers and a thick plate between the 2 . and a set of L-brackets on the rear one if it was a short bed or blazer to hold the 2nd crossmember .

My 74 had this also, both crossmembers attached to the frame.

Where you moving too? Just a new house in the same area? I have been moving for the last 3 days til midnight each night and I still have all my garage stuff to do and a ton of stuff to do at the new house.

About 40 miles north. Just enough to have to pack.

I really hate moving

Me too...when I moved up here in Nov my work paid to move me which was way nice. This time I'm moving 10 miles which sucks. Only thing I got going for me is that we got cleaned out and hallway packed still from the move in Nov. The worst is when you are somewhere for a long time and then move.

That's us. We put an equal number of bags on the curb for trash, on the porch for donations, and boxes packed

Well I hope it all goes well for you. At least you get a chance to purge all of the crap out that you have accumulated. This is my 5th and final move in the last 3 1/2 yrs. I'm down to only what I need. Is this a good move? Like closer to work and stuff and a better house?

Yep. Have to ask Justin what the amperage was

The old 55A one crapped the bed coming home from Moab. Stops charging above 3000 RPM

It'll do. Don't talk on the CB at the same time you're listening to the radio

Sure thing. That's probably what killed the old one

I keeps on tellin' ya'll that you need a CS130 or 144....
Old Bruiser holds 14 volts at low idle...
And only drops to 13.5 with the lights on..
Sent me a free one with the serp belt set up and we'll talk...
