Did you use standard ATF or synthetic? I've been thinking of using the full synthetic ATF in it once I pull the engine. Gear oil here gets so cold it's like grease. Makes shifting like churning butter until it warms up.

I'd like to try synthetic 50 weight trans oil, just cuz I have it at work.
I wonder if the 30W power train oil we run in all the equipment would work also.

I used standard Dex 6. It was a bit of an experiment, but does work significantly better. If it ever stop leaking it might get better oil

It’s free to anyone, too big for my spot

40 gal burban tank? What year was it off of? TBI tank?

I might want it...but you are a long ways away from me now...

I think I have a 31 gallon I'd trade. Have to ask @GWeakland620 how big it is for sure. I could easily put a 40 in my flatbed dually truck. That big block is not happy with just a single 20 gal tank.

Drive on over, I’ll feed ya and give ya a couch to sleep on!

You are a female bovine that has not had any calves?

If your weight on the front bumper causes no ill effect, why would you think adding less weight, further back will do so????

Martin
