Betcha I got inside info. A certain individual called me today at work and I happened to be covering parts at the time. I've got to get the pricing figured out with my Parts manager, but safe to say there will be a wooden box coming soon.

Looking back, I kinda wish I'd done a 408 high compression stroker vs. the turbo. Simpler.

I had a full roller gen I small block, would've been happy to keep it if I didn't kill it.
I priced out some leftover parts of a 6.0 short block and a complete 5.3. Swap the 6.0 block with the cam and heads of the 5.3 is actually one of the best lower rpm tq numbers of any LS package. Was $2000 in used parts (but included harness and manifolds) and another $2500 in machine work (yes I actually called)

A 408 stroker would make tq

No and I was thinking of putting a Qjet back together

Well I know that you would do that for the man cards, but I was wondering about the water pump. I know that you probably have a wussy alternator, but maybe there would be an upgrade. .

WHAT?????
When did you step up????
Lol!!!!
I have my spare '90 K5 here....plus another one on the '72....
I might not have enough to spare....

Pretty sure v-belts ain't gonna cut it with whats coming down the pipeline. Just saying.

Never know he could be completely retrograding a LS to look like a small block.

Something along these lines maybe... But with V-belts.

It's a big block!!
It's a block alright. And it's inbound via truck freight from Michigan as we speak. I'm betting this time next week. Then Mark's got to point that 77 south to Canon to pick up said block, inside a crate of wood. He said he'd swing by and see his parents on the way home too. He's such a nice boy that Mark.
