It's black. But I haven't pulled the box off the crate yet. We'll need to do that Friday so we can use our cherry picker to get the engine on our lift table. Then it can go in the back of Bent's truck.

Hey @Bent77 , what made you pick the fitech over the sniper? I’m wanting to pick one up in a few months and havent decided which one yet.

Seems like the Holley was a bit more sensitive to RFI at the distributor, or at least from the accounts from other garage hacks who may or may not have installed anything right. Holley suggests using a Dual Sync distributor that they make and it’s a bit more expensive than others.

But really they are very close to the same. @mrk5 has the Sniper and it’s been working great for him. @LNielson alao just got one

@ktmoutfront @skunked @Justin V have installed the FITech, so I have a few more guys to bounce ideas off of if issues arise

Cool thanks. I didnt think either one had any deal breakers.

@mrk5 likes his sniper because it will trigger two fans at separate temps.

I had to deal with Holley for a software update on an older direct port injection system on the 57. They were complete dicks on the phone. Shortly after we bumped into the fitech guys at hot August nights and bought the first system for the 57. I’ve done 4 more systems since.

Part of me also feels like fitech deserves the credit for pushing the industry with the first affordable stand alone TBI system.
