I switched to the cloth braided viton. I'll never go back to stainless braid. It's so much easier to install the ends, no blood and they don't chaff on other stuff as bad. Pressure ratings were comparable

Interesting, might have to have to look into that. How is the price comparison? Do they have color/style options?

Build/modify throttle lever to work with the truck linkage. Tis uses the pin style
plugs
oil change
add regulator to fuel rail and hook up vac line

Todays progress:
change -6 AN line ends from straight to 45* to take pressure of the line
Throttle body​
Throttle bracket​
install IAT sender
Install distrubutor
hook up harness
Add fuel pressure gage
Work firewall hole for ECM plug to fit through

To do:
plug wires
Wire in Edelbrock system:
relocate pump wire (will run down frame to existing wire)
relocate 12V wire to under hood
Finish tying fuel lines/arb line together and protect rub points
Fix throttle cable
wire to tach
wire to O2 sensor
Mount and wire coil
coil wire to dizzy
shorten hose to heater core
ground wire to throttle body
booster hose
Fire wall grommet
mount computer
rotate fuel pressure sender
hook up vacuum line to pressure regulator, add clamp at throttle body
Check/rebuild/repair the fuel system
EFI setup on tablet
 
Don’t let that braid rub on ANYTHING. It’s like a saw. Ask me how I know! I’m already worried about that airline.
Gonna tie it up better, but will keep an eye on it.
Good news is it's the rear. Truck works pretty well with the doubler and the rear axle open

I did pull it in to put it in the TBI confuser location above the glove box

Two things I really like about the ECM set up is the cam over style lock so it should stay dry if under hood
And it's not mounted to the engine
(and plenty of wire to move it)
