The Cherry Bomb

1970 GMC Jimmy
Well I am in the market for 1, but right now just fixing the axle shaft. When a decent priced 60 is located I will sell the 10 bolt. I know needle in a haystack.

what's a good price?

That price wouldn't be bad. I would like to get one that is already 4.10 geared, preferably with a locker, but I could re-gear if needed.

I don't know if I should stick with GM, or if certain year Fords will bolt up, if dually axles are different.

Ford would be the wrong drop. Dodge would work. that axle in Wichita Falls is a couple of hours away from me. I could pick it up if needed and meet in Co. Springs if need be. I will keep an eye out.

Finally fixed carnage from Blazer Bash last year. Put new passenger front axle shaft in, replaced and repacked bearings new seals etc. Also found they didn't take balancing weights off one rim when I got tires last time, so took those off, since I run balancing beads.

When I did the beads on the crew cab they only took the weights off 2 of the wheels. :dunno:

Now you're ready to hit the trails with the Circus!
