Also, I replaced the radiator on Tuesday, 18 years and 260k miles was enough for the original. And it was much more difficult than it needed to be.

You mean minimum drain rate and maximum scatter? My issue was working around the lower half of the radiator shroud that wouldn't come out without removing either the fan assembly or man-handling the old radiator out.Don't you enjoy how these drain???

The rear shackle flip seemed to me to move the axle forward a bit in reference to the body. After Moab, I moved mine back 1" using the zero rate offset, and was so happy with the results. The rear axle now sits in the center of the wheel well, and the 37" tire no longer contacts the front part of the fender. Looks and performs much better!

Went for a little explore in Mineral Basin in American Fork canyon on the 4th with my brother, had a great time, up until the motor started acting like it was carbeurated. Started running rich and didn't want to idle or rev if I gave it too much throttle. I know the distributor on these motors is a common issue, but it wasn't acting like it usually does when the dizzy goes bad. On a hunch, I pulled the plugs to the MAF and IAT sensors to put the motor into limp mode, and it ran just fine after that until I got pointed downhill. It only happens at high elevation and when the motor has been working hard and is heat soaked. I think it might be a good time to throw some new sensors at it.

A "real" locker you mean? It's got the gov-lock but obviously it's no good on the rocks.

It works fine, when it locks, it's as good at being a locker as a Detroit, but it requires more wheel spin than I'm willing to give it in low range.
Man I must be insane for thinking about replacing my Detroit Locker with a GovLock

Original miles on that axle are unknown, an inspection of it after purchase revealed that everything was kosher inside so I did nothing to it. It came out of an 03 HD Chevy. It doesn't seem worn out at all, but the way they're designed requires more wheel spin than I'd like in low range. In high range in gravel or snow it's near instant engagement and is fully locked until I let off the gas.
I'll probably place an order with summit this weekend for a Detroit.

Love my Detroit! But just remember, you will need an open carrier for the Detroit installation. Can't use the GovLock carrier.
I thought the Detroit was a carrier replacement type of locker?
