Didn't try to get a pattern yesterday because there was an issue with the drivers side bearing cap. That is corrected and I added another .003 to the pinion shim pack.
Back lash was out so I corrected that before trying the pinion depth again.
I'm going to move the pinion another . 002
The back lash got tight, let me fix that.
