I am planning a crawler. I've done everything I can in the Jimmy. Getting boring. Need some new challenges.

Your bored because no HOrsepowerss! Stick a bone stock 5.3 in that and I'm betting it'll reignite your love for the truck, I still can't wait to see your slow skills though.. it outa be through the top!
Don't stick a bone stock anything in that rig. Needs a cam at a minimum, too much potential left on the table with stock engines. I'm all for looking stock, but the truck is not stock, why should the engine be?
It would be different. He would have to get used to not shifting when the valves float.
This is my problem. I know something cool is expected, but I just want the basics. With an enclosed cab, heat, air and xm.
Stroked Ls with boost.. I wanna see it drag the bumper on a launch..
Looking around at the tube doors and stereo choices on here, I'm not sure the average CK5 guy would consider those things basic.
Do you know what cab you are starting with? If its anything like before I am sure we'll get pictures when its done.
FYI, you can probably get XM in one of these, they have pretty good HVAC these days and they could crawl pretty well if you remove the loader and deck.

This is your choice to make, but you don't really have the option of controlling what pictures get posted. So if you don't post real pictures than we will be forced to continue posting tractor pics.
Also, I'm curious to see how the narrowing works out, there's not much room under one of those hoods to narrow it a whole bunch. What drivetrain are you wanting to run in there?
No idea on drivetrain. Yet. Huffed 3800? Exocage will fix any width issues. Fenders will be for effect only. Front axle forward of the grill. Radiator in the back.
